Last week our very own Alan Rosenthal joined the ranks of local food heroes invited to showcase their signature dishes at the Cornwall Food and Drink Festival.
On Thursday, our Head of Truro School Cookery led a demonstration in the main marquee on Lemon Quay, presenting one of his favourite recipes: delicious dry paneer and cabbage curry featured in his book, ‘One Pot’. The marquee was filled a wonderful aroma of curry spices with eager attendees keen to watch his demonstration and afterwards sample the curry he prepared and well as purchase his book.
The following day, Alan hosted a fun and interactive pasta-making workshop, where attendees learnt the art of crafting pasta from scratch.
The festival highlights the many talented chefs, producers, and street food vendors in Cornwall along with the diversity of fresh local produce available from our county.
We were thrilled to be part of this wonderful event, and we extend our gratitude to the Truro Food and Drink Festival team for inviting Truro School Cookery to join in the fun.
I wish to say a massive thank you for the help and support we were given. Everyone looked after us splendidly and without a doubt a good time was had by all. The facilities were excellent and the evening a great success, please take a deal of the credit for that outcome.
Thank you so much for your hospitality in providing such excellent facilities for the AOTOS Access Day. We were very happy with the arrangements. The caretakers and catering staff were so approachable and willing to help.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you. Everything went smoothly and we were very appreciative of you accommodating some of the last minute requests. You were on hand for the entire evening and many people commented on how wonderful the setting and food was.
CCC were delighted with the SBA Sport’s Centre for its Business Fair 2018 and received really positive feedback from attendees. Truro School’s team were very efficient and the space was transformed into a professional business fair.
