A fun filled weekend of agriculture, show jumping, prizegiving, flowers, food and fairground rides was enjoyed by thousands, in one of the most exciting weeks in the Cornish Calendar.
Truro School Enterprises has had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Royal Cornwall Show, for the first time. Joining the Truro School team with our own stand-alone stall of all things enterprises! We have met lots of wonderful members of the public and networked with businesses within our community.
Although the weather may not have been on our side, spirts were not dampened as staff from the Sir Ben Ainslie Sports Centre challenged the crowds with their strength bar contest.
After working up an appetite, guests were invited to enjoy homemade cupcakes from Truro School Cookery Café, along with fruit infused cordials.
Head of Cookery, Alan Rosenthal from Truro School Cookery school joined us for food demos and samples on the Friday of the show. Whipping up Gyozas and other delights on the stand.
We would like to congratulate, 5 year old Celeste for winning our bar strength challenge, with a time of 3 Minutes 42 Seconds. This incredible effort, saw her fight of competition from adults and children of all ages, during the 3 days.
The event opened lots of exciting conversations with our team and we would like to thank everyone that popped in for a chat.
