Located within walking distance of Truro city centre, Truro Cathedral, Hall for Cornwall, the bus station (0.3 miles) and train station (0.9 miles), our boarding houses provide accessible, centrally located group stays in Cornwall.
For added convenience, we can provide high-quality in-house catering from the school’s main dining hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request — ideal for residential groups and organised events.
All houses offer a combination of single, twin and triple bedrooms, shared bathroom facilities and generous communal areas. Each property includes:

Trennick is the largest of our boarding houses, located in the heart of the main campus. Ideal for large group bookings in Cornwall, it offers generous shared spaces designed for socialising and relaxing together.

The main living room features five three-seater sofas, a pool table, games console, smart TV and courtyard views. A second snug includes four two-seater sofas, an additional TV, PS4 and board games.
Bedrooms include a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, mirror, lamp and waste bin, with natural light and views across the school grounds.
Bathrooms are communal and include:

Poltisco House is a beautiful 18th-century Georgian property in a quiet yet central location, just a 5-minute walk from Truro Cathedral and the city centre.
Sleeping up to 10 guests across five generous bedrooms, Poltisco is ideal for families or smaller groups exploring Cornwall’s north and south coasts.

Situated in a detached property within the calm of the school grounds, Malvern offers comfort, colour and practicality for residential groups.
Facilities Include:
Wi-Fi, smart TV, PS4, piano, guitars, board games, books, central heating, American-style fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, long dining table and a dedicated workspace with five computers.
The living room includes two three-seater sofas, one two-seater sofa, a chair and bean bags, along with direct access to the kitchen and courtyard — creating a large, sociable space for entertaining.
The courtyard features tables, chairs and bean bags for relaxing on warm evenings.
Bathrooms are communal with showers, toilets and sinks. Heated towel rails are provided. Bath mats and towels can be provided on request.
Each bedroom contains a bed, wardrobe, lamp, mirror, desk, chair and waste bin. All bedrooms have a window, with some providing views over the city and towards the stunning cathedral.
Accessibility Note:
Bedrooms are arranged over three floors with low ceilings on the top floor and multiple staircases. This house is not suitable for guests with accessibility requirements.
Pentreve offers 7 well-equipped bedrooms in a detached building with its own private green garden, mature trees and generous outdoor space.
