Opening Summer 2026

Scheduled for completion in Summer 2026, the New Music Centre and Event Space will be a state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound venue in Truro, designed to support musical education, performance and large-scale events. The development will create a vibrant hub for creativity, learning and community use, combining a purpose-built music centre with a fully refurbished multi-use hall.

Music Education & Rehearsal Facilities

The new music centre will offer a wide range of specialist practice, teaching and production spaces, including:

• Purpose-built rehearsal rooms suitable for ensembles and orchestras
• An increased number of bespoke practice rooms for individual and chamber musicians
• A fully soundproofed rehearsal space for rock, jazz and percussion groups
• Dedicated facilities for electronic music creation, broadcast and recording
• Large and medium rehearsal rooms
• A production room
• Teaching classrooms

The ground floor performance space will be directly accessible from a purpose-built reception and foyer, making it ideal for rehearsals, recitals and small-scale performances.

Refurbished Assembly Hall & Large-Scale Events

The refurbishment of the existing Assembly Hall will transform it into a high-quality, multi-purpose event venue in Truro, suitable for both school and community use.
